Vox Machina Collection: Grog Strongjaw Flannel Lined Denim Shirt Jacket

For the price they're charging for this coat, I was really expecting more material. Despite the lining, there's a reason it's advertised as a "shirt jacket"; the denim is light and breathable, and the flannel lining doesn't do much but soften the interior. The buttons and patch are weighty and durable, but the rest of the shirt feels paper-thin. Great for folks that live in a warm state, but as someone who regularly deals with temperatures below freezing, I was hoping for a bit more. The shoulders and sleeves are also a bit narrow, making it a bit difficult to layer with much more than a simple tee or tank. If your goal is to look hot but stay cool, this is the perfect coat.

First, I’d like to say thanks to the customer support team that helped me with getting the product size that I needed. I stuck with the sizing guide because the jacket looks a little bigger than expected. I went with a medium because that’s what was suggested. Way too tight, unfortunately. I’m about 5’8 190 and the jacket felt like it was going to bust open when I lifted my arms. I went up to the large and it’s a much better fit. Still a little snug, but that’s more of my body composition. Material feels good and I get to be nerdy in public while still looking stylish. I’d recommend going a minimum of one-two sizes up from recommended fit.

I love that the jacket is not too thick. Fits right, which is a bit different from the baggy clothes I usually wear so I also got a size larger 😂. I don't know who might find this helpful but it's hard to find a good jacket around the shoulder areas for riding a motorcycle and this jacket is perfect. I'm happy to own two
